How do dental implants work? All-on-4 Irving Dental Implants

Dental implants are titanium screws placed into the jawbone. Bone bonds with the implant to form a firm foundation for replacement teeth. The implant mimics a natural tooth root and actually preserves jawbone mass over the long term, something other replacement teeth techniques can’t do.  Contact our office today to learn more.

How long does the dental implant procedure take?

It depends on each patient’s individual case and the type of procedure being performed.  With Bite Lock, patients receive dental implants and replacement teeth on the same day. Find out if you qualify for a free CT scan and Bite Lock consultation.

What type of X-ray technology does your office use?

We use a state-of-the-art Cone Beam CT scanner. This device scans oral structures and produces 3D images that aid in the analysis of bone density and the precise placement of dental implants. Contact us for additional information about our technology and the Bite Lock technique.

Why are the back implants placed at an angle?

We place angled back implants toward the front of the mouth to ensure that the implant makes the most contact with the jawbone. This increases strength and stability. Additionally, this placement avoids critical obstacles such as the nerve in the jaw and the maxillary sinuses. Contact our office for more information.
